BJP MP from North East Delhi Manoj Tiwari has identified the person who slapped Kanhaiya Kumar. BJP MP Manoj Tiwari said in an interview that he knows him well and he is like a hero in the area. Manoj Tiwari praised his efforts for cow protection. However, he also said that slapping Kanhaiya Kumar was wrong.
In the interview, Manoj Tiwari was asked a question about slapping Kanhaiya Kumar. Responding to this, Manoj Tiwari said, ‘I know Daksh. Everyone in our area knows him. He is a cow protector. Daksh is a hero of our area… he did not do the right thing, he should not have slapped him. By slapping Kanhaiya, he became a hero for some time.’
He was slapped during the Lok Sabha elections
During the Lok Sabha elections, Delhi Congress candidate Kanhaiya Kumar was slapped by Daksh Chaudhary and Anu Chaudhary for making a statement about dividing the country into pieces. Kanhaiya’s supporters caught both of them, beat them up and handed them over to the police. Delhi Police took action against both of them. Earlier also, Teela police station had arrested Anu Chaudhary for entering a religious place wearing shoes.
